I have been feeling rather nostalgic lately which has caused me to venture into my old iTunes playlists from around 2008-2011. This is just a little taste of what late middle school up until Junior year Sam listened to. These are the songs that take me back to a specifc time, memory or feeling. Because of that, these songs will forever hold a place in my heart. Most are completely random but I love that. Because some of these songs are sadly not available on Spotify I have inculded YouTube Videos for all of the tracks. I have also inculded a guessimated time period in which these songs came into significance for me.
1. Excuses- The Morning Benders
Circa 2010
2. Last Night- The Morning Benders (Cover of The Strokes)

4. Bruises- Charilift
Circa 2009-11
5. Pumped Up Kicks- Foster the People
Circa 2010
6. 1234- Fiest

9. Street Lights- Kanye West

10. Safe & Sound- Taylor Swift feat. The Civil Wars

BONUS TRACK: New Soul- Yael Naim

When I first heard this song on an apple commercial I searched long and hard for it because it was so catchy and different. When I finally found it, naturally I made it my myspace song. People then began to tell me how weird this song was and that they didn't like it. A year later everyone and their mother's were on the hype about the song. Typical.
Until next time,
☾ SAM ✧
